Days 1-2

JKIA Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Day 1 Morning – Arrival and Transfer to Amboseli

Your kenya, tanzania and zanzibar honeymoon safari package begins at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Your Africa Bed of Roses Safaris representative meets you on arrival and the transfer south to Amboseli National Park begins immediately. The drive takes approximately four hours through the Athi Plains and the Namanga corridor toward the Tanzania border, and Kilimanjaro announces itself from the road on clear days well before the park gate, the mountain’s white summit emerging above the southern horizon with a size and clarity that always produces a moment of genuine surprise even when you know it is coming.

Arrive at your chosen Amboseli accommodation for lunch. Check in, take the afternoon to settle, and prepare for the first game drive of your honeymoon safari.

Day 1 Afternoon – Observation Hill and First Elephant Game Drive

The first Amboseli afternoon begins at Observation Hill, the only elevated point in the flat basin, with a panoramic view across the entire park and toward Kilimanjaro to the south. The geography of Amboseli is immediately comprehensible from the hilltop: the swamps dark green against the pale plain, the elephant herds visible as moving shapes in the open ground below, the mountain above the park’s southern boundary filling the sky. From the hill, the afternoon game drive covers the core elephant areas, the families moving between the swamps and the open ground in the late afternoon gold.

Day 1 Evening – Private Sundowner and Romantic Bush Dinner

Your guide arranges a private sundowner setup for the first evening of your honeymoon, a table above the plain with Kilimanjaro visible behind the park boundary and cold drinks and the sound of the Amboseli evening around you. Dinner follows at your lodge, the first night of a journey that will take you across three countries and nine of East Africa’s most extraordinary places.

Day 2 – Full Day in Amboseli: Kilimanjaro Dawn Drive, Swamps and Bush Breakfast

The second Amboseli day begins before sunrise for the defining drive of the park. Kilimanjaro is most reliably clear in the pre-dawn hour before cloud builds around the summit, and your guide positions the vehicle at the swamp edge as the sky lightens and the elephant families move onto the plain with the mountain emerging behind them. The combination of the elephants, the light, and the mountain in the pre-dawn cold is the moment that the kenya honeymoon itinerary is built around and it is experienced here at this hour, at this park, with no other vehicle nearby and the sounds of the swamp in the darkness around you.

The late morning covers the Enkongo Narok and Longinye swamps in detail, where herds of thirty or more elephants spend hours bathing and socialising in the warm morning water. A bush breakfast is served in the open plain with Kilimanjaro as the backdrop, a private table for two with the swamp elephants visible at the water’s edge and the mountain above them. The afternoon covers the Maasai village cultural visit and the cheetah territories on the open plain, closing the Amboseli section of the journey with the full range of what this park offers at its best.

Accommodation Options:  Amboseli Sopa Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, inside the park with Kilimanjaro views) Kibo Safari Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, on the park boundary) Ol Tukai Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, inside the park near the swamps) Kimana Amboseli Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, Kimana Wildlife Corridor)

Nights:  2 nights at your chosen Amboseli accommodation Meals:  Full board throughout. Bush breakfast and Maasai village visit included. Drinking water provided.

Morning – Transfer from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

The drive from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha heads north through Nairobi and then into the Rift Valley, the road descending through the escarpment wall onto the lake basin. The journey takes approximately four to five hours. Arrive at your Naivasha accommodation for lunch and the afternoon programme.

Afternoon – Crescent Island Walking Safari

Crescent Island is a private wildlife sanctuary in the eastern section of Lake Naivasha accessible by boat from the shore. The island holds giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, waterbuck, and various antelope species that have become habituated to human presence on foot. The walking safari with your guide moves at the animals’ pace rather than a vehicle’s pace, stopping when something approaches, waiting when something crosses the path ahead. The experience of being at ground level among these animals, with the lake visible around the island and the Rift Valley escarpment rising above it, is one of the most quietly romantic activities on the kenya honeymoon itinerary.

Evening – Sunset Boat Cruise on Lake Naivasha

The Naivasha evening is the boat cruise, the activity that defines the one-night stop. The boat moves along the papyrus shore as the sun drops toward the escarpment, the hippos emerging from the water in the shallows alongside, African fish eagles calling from the acacia trees above the bank. The lake turns gold and then pink and then dark around the boat, and the sounds of the papyrus bird community fill the air along the shore. It is one of the most romantic evenings of the kenya honeymoon safari package.

Accommodation Options:  Enashipai Resort and Spa (Mid-Range Resort, on the lake shore) Crater Lake Camp (Boutique Tented Camp, Crater Lake private conservancy) Sawela Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, on the lake shore)

Nights:  1 night at your chosen Lake Naivasha accommodation Meals:  Full board. Crescent Island walk and sunset boat cruise included. Drinking water provided.

Day 3

Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Days 4-5

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Day 4 Morning – Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

The drive from Lake Naivasha to the Masai Mara takes three to four hours south through the Rift Valley and into the rolling Mara hill country. The road descends onto the great open savannah that announces the Mara ecosystem and the arrival at your camp, with the plains spreading ahead and the Oloololo escarpment rising to the west, establishes immediately what the next two days will feel like.

Day 4 Afternoon – First Mara Game Drive and Campfire Dinner

The first Mara afternoon drive covers the open plains and the river corridor in the late afternoon light, the hour when the predators are most active and the Mara grass catches the amber tone that makes every photograph from this park look as though it was taken in the golden hour because every photograph from this park was taken in the golden hour. The campfire dinner that follows is arranged privately for your couple, the fire burning, the Mara night coming in around you, the stars above the plain as dense as they have been at any point in your honeymoon.

Day 5 – Full Day in the Mara: Hot Air Balloon, River Crossing and Big Five Drive

The full Mara day begins before first light with the hot air balloon safari, the most romantic experience on the kenya honeymoon itinerary and one of the most romantic experiences available in Africa full stop. The balloon lifts before dawn and drifts across the plains as the sun rises, the wildlife below moving through the early morning with complete unawareness of the balloon above them. The champagne breakfast served in the field after landing is a white-tablecloth meal in the middle of the Mara with the balloon behind you and the open plain in every direction around you.

The morning moves to the Mara River for the crossing vigil during migration season, the wildebeest building on the far bank, the tension of the crossing moment, the crocodiles in the water and the lions on the far bank, and the survivors scrambling up to immediately begin grazing. Outside migration season the river delivers hippo pods, Nile crocodiles, and the exceptional birdlife of the river corridor. The afternoon covers the Big Five game drive and the Maasai village cultural visit before the camp transfer that begins the Tanzania section of the journey.

Accommodation Options:  Mara Serena Safari Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, Mara Triangle, prime river crossing position) Governors’ Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, on the Mara River) Mara Intrepids Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, Talek area) Mara Sopa Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, Eastern Mara)

Nights:  2 nights at your chosen Masai Mara accommodation Meals:  Full board throughout. Hot air balloon safari at extra cost. Campfire dinner and Maasai village visit included. Drinking water provided.

Morning – Cross into Tanzania: Transfer to Northern Serengeti

The crossing from Kenya into Tanzania on the Masai Mara to Northern Serengeti transfer is one of the most seamless border crossings in East Africa, a short drive through the Serengeti Mara Gate that moves you from one country to another across the same continuous ecosystem. Your Africa Bed of Roses Safaris guide handles all border documentation and the transition is managed on your behalf without interruption to the safari experience. The landscape on the Tanzania side of the border is continuous with the Mara plains and the adjustment is one of scale rather than character: the Serengeti is bigger, wider, and emptier of vehicles than the Mara even in peak season.

The drive south into the northern Serengeti crosses the Lamai Wedge country, the rocky escarpment and the open plain that characterises this section of the park, with the Mara River visible as a green corridor through the dry grassland below. Arrive at your northern Serengeti camp for lunch and the afternoon game drive.

Afternoon – Northern Serengeti Game Drive and Mara River Crossing Vigil

The afternoon in the northern Serengeti is devoted to the Mara River crossing vigil on the Tanzania side, a different perspective on the same event that your couple may have witnessed in the Masai Mara during days four and five. The Tanzania crossing points are managed by fewer vehicles and the guide positioning here tends to be closer and more deliberate. The crocodile concentrations at the Tanzania crossing points are significant, and the crossing when it happens is as intense and as sudden as anything the Mara side produces.

Whether a crossing happens in the afternoon or not, the northern Serengeti game drive covers the excellent predator populations of the Lamai area. The lion prides of the northern Serengeti are large, well-habituated, and use the Mara River corridor and the rocky kopjes of the escarpment as the central features of their territories. Sundowners in the northern Serengeti as the sun drops over the Tanzania plains mark the first evening of the tanzania honeymoon package section of the journey.

Accommodation Options: Kogatende Serengeti Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, northern Serengeti, on the Mara River) Ubuntu Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, Lamai Wedge area, northern Serengeti) Serengeti Migration Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, Lamai, northern Serengeti)

Nights:  1 night at your chosen Northern Serengeti accommodation Meals:  Full board. Mara River crossing vigil and sundowner included. Drinking water provided.

Day 6

Masai Mara to Northern Serengeti, Tanzania

Days 7-8

Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

Day 7 Morning – Transfer to Central Serengeti with Game Drive En Route

The drive from the northern Serengeti to the central Seronera area takes approximately two to three hours and the route passes through some of the finest open plain in the entire park. Your guide treats the transfer as a full game drive, stopping for every significant sighting along the route. The landscape changes from the wooded escarpment country of the north to the open infinite plain of the central Serengeti, and the moment when the grassland opens fully in every direction with no tree line visible on any horizon is the visual moment that makes the Serengeti different from every other park on this tanzania holiday honeymoon package.

Arrive at your central Serengeti accommodation for lunch. Check in and prepare for the afternoon drive in the Seronera area.

Day 7 Afternoon – Seronera Valley Predator Drive

The Seronera Valley afternoon drive focuses on the predator concentrations that make this section of the Serengeti unique. The Seronera River’s fig tree corridor is the place to start, working the known leopard territories with the patience and familiarity that your guide brings to a landscape they know daily. The Seronera lion prides are large and well-documented, using the kopje outcrops as the elevated resting positions that the flat plain around them cannot provide. Cheetah are found on the open grassland sections east of the river.

The sundowner arrangement in the central Serengeti is set against the backdrop of an open plain that extends to the horizon in every direction, the kopjes silhouetted against the orange sky and the sounds of the Serengeti evening beginning around you. It is the kind of sundowner that the tanzania honeymoon package is designed to produce.

Day 8 – Full Day in the Central Serengeti: Dawn Drive, Kopje Circuit and Bush Breakfast

The second central Serengeti day begins in complete darkness, the vehicle moving out onto the Seronera plain before any light has arrived in the sky. The Serengeti at pre-dawn has a quality that the midday game drive cannot approximate: the sounds carry further in the still air, the predators are still active from the night, and the light arrives slowly enough that there is a long period of observation in the blue-grey half-dark before the sun fully rises.

The dawn drive covers the Seronera River corridor in the early light, the leopard territories worked with the quiet attention that early morning requires, and then the kopje circuit where the lion prides typically rest in the morning warmth. A bush breakfast is set up in the open Serengeti with the kopjes on one side and the open plain on the other, a private table for two in the middle of the most famous wildlife landscape on earth.

The afternoon covers the open plains migration drive if the herds are present in the central section, a full hour of being surrounded by wildebeest and zebra in numbers that make the concept of a herd feel inadequate to what is actually happening around the vehicle. If the migration is in the north or south, the afternoon covers the resident plains game, the enormous Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle populations, the topi and kongoni herds, and the giraffe that move through the acacia woodland at the kopje edges.

Accommodation Options: Serengeti Sopa Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, central Serengeti, Seronera area) Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, central Serengeti) Seronera Wildlife Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, inside the park on the Seronera kopjes)

Nights: 2 nights at your chosen Central Serengeti accommodation Meals:  Full board throughout. Bush breakfast included. Drinking water provided.

Day 9 Morning – Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro

The drive from the central Serengeti to Ngorongoro exits the park through the Naabi Hill gate and heads southeast toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes approximately two to three hours and the approach to the crater rim is one of the great drive arrivals on the tanzania honeymoon package, the road climbing through the forested upper slopes of the Ngorongoro highlands to the rim viewpoints where the caldera suddenly reveals itself below. The first view of the crater floor from the rim, with the soda lake and the flamingo pink visible at the bottom and the crater walls sweeping around the full circle below you, stops most people entirely.

Your accommodation on the crater rim is positioned to give views into the caldera from the lodge or camp. Arrive for lunch, check in, and take the afternoon to absorb the scale of what is below you before the morning descent.

Day 9 Afternoon – Crater Rim Walk and Sunset Views

The first Ngorongoro afternoon is spent on the crater rim, walking the forest trails with your guide and taking the sunset views from the rim viewpoints as the light changes over the caldera below. The rim forest holds olive trees, giant African violets, and the colobus monkeys that move through the upper canopy. The views from the rim as the sun drops behind the western crater wall and the shadow moves across the crater floor are the finest landscape views of the entire kenya, tanzania and zanzibar honeymoon safari package.

Day 10 – Full Day in Ngorongoro Crater: Dawn Descent, Black Rhino and Crater Circuit

The second Ngorongoro day is the crater descent, the experience that the tanzania honeymoon package is built around. The vehicle begins the descent in complete darkness, the headlights picking out the steep crater wall road as the caldera opens below in the pre-dawn dark. The descent takes approximately thirty minutes and the arrival on the crater floor at the moment the dawn light reaches the soda lake, the flamingos turning pink at the water’s edge and the crater walls rising in every direction above you, is the most dramatic arrival moment of the entire journey.

The crater circuit covers the full range of the caldera’s habitats. The soda lake and its flamingo and waterbird concentrations. The Lerai Forest of yellow fever acacia where the elephant bulls spend the dry season. The open grassland where the lion prides are most reliably found, the crater lions are stocky, deep-chested animals shaped by the enclosed ecosystem’s particular selection pressures. The black rhino territories in the southwestern section of the crater, where the ranger knowledge of individual animals gives the best chance of a sighting available anywhere in Tanzania.

A bush lunch is served on the crater floor, a private setup in the middle of the world’s eighth natural wonder, the crater walls surrounding you in every direction and the wildlife of the caldera going about its business in the landscape around your table. The afternoon drive covers the remaining crater sections before the ascent back to the rim for sundowners looking into the caldera as the light changes over the floor below.

Accommodation Options: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, on the crater rim with caldera views) Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, crater rim) Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, crater rim)

Nights:  2 nights at your chosen Ngorongoro Crater accommodation Meals:  Full board throughout. Crater descent, bush lunch on the crater floor, and crater rim sundowners included. Drinking water provided.

Days 9-10

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Day 11

Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

Morning – Transfer from Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara

The drive from Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara descends from the crater highlands toward the Rift Valley floor, the road dropping through the forested escarpment slopes and opening onto the Manyara plain below. The journey takes approximately one to two hours and the arrival at the park gate gives the first view of the lake, the alkaline water visible through the acacia woodland with the flamingo colouring along the shoreline.

Afternoon – Manyara Game Drive: Tree-Climbing Lions and Forest Elephants

The Manyara afternoon game drive covers the park from the groundwater forest entrance to the open lake shore, moving through the habitat transition that makes the park distinctive. The forest entrance section holds the elephant population in the dense fig and mahogany woodland, the animals moving between the trees with an ease and a proximity that the open park encounters cannot replicate.

The tree-climbing lions are the highlight of the Manyara visit. The behaviour, believed to be an adaptation for avoiding insects and for gaining the elevated vantage that the flat floodplain cannot otherwise provide, is observed in the acacia woodland above the lake shore. Your guide knows the territories of the park’s resident prides and positions the vehicle below the trees where the lions are most reliably found in the late afternoon. A lion resting horizontally across an acacia branch fifteen metres above the vehicle is one of the most consistently startling sightings in East African wildlife photography.

The lake shore circuit closes the afternoon, the flamingo concentrations at the alkaline waterline and the waterbird diversity of the lake margins providing a birdwatching experience that complements the mammal focus of the earlier drives. Sundowners on the Rift Valley escarpment above the park, with the lake and its flamingo pink visible in the valley floor below, close the Manyara evening.

Accommodation Options: Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, on the rift escarpment above the park) Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, at the park boundary) Kirurumu Manyara Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, on the escarpment with valley views)

Nights:  1 night at your chosen Lake Manyara accommodation Meals:  Full board. Tree-climbing lion game drive and escarpment sundowner included. Drinking water provided.

Morning – Transfer from Lake Manyara to Tarangire

The drive from Lake Manyara to Tarangire follows the main northern circuit road south through the Mto wa Mbu agricultural area and into the Tarangire ecosystem. The journey takes approximately one hour and the transition from the lush Manyara escarpment country to the drier baobab savannah of Tarangire is marked and immediate. The first baobabs appear by the roadside before the park gate and become progressively more numerous and more ancient-looking as the road descends toward the Tarangire River.

Afternoon – Tarangire Elephant and Baobab Game Drive

The Tarangire afternoon drive follows the Tarangire River, the most productive game viewing route in the park. The elephant herds in the dry season number in their hundreds along the river corridor, and the concentration of animals around the permanent water produces a game viewing experience of a different character from any other destination on the journey. The elephants here are wilder and less habituated than those of Amboseli, encountered on their own terms in a landscape that has not been managed for vehicle access to the same degree.

The baobab trees provide the afternoon’s visual character, enormous ancient trunks rising from the dry red earth with their distinctive bottle-shaped silhouette against the Tanzania sky. The afternoon light on a large baobab in the Tarangire landscape, with an elephant herd moving through the grass below it, is one of the most distinctively African images available on any safari in East Africa.

The Silale Swamps circuit in the south of the park provides the afternoon’s secondary highlight, the permanent water drawing buffalo herds, resident lion prides, and the wide variety of waterbirds that the dry savannah around Tarangire cannot support on its own. Sundowners beside the Tarangire River as the light fades close the last full safari evening before the Arusha departure and the Zanzibar flight.

Accommodation Options: Tarangire Sopa Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, inside Tarangire, on the Tarangire River) Oliver’s Camp (Mid-Range Tented Camp, southern Tarangire, exclusive concession) Tarangire Safari Lodge (Mid-Range Lodge, inside the park)

Nights: 1 night at your chosen Tarangire accommodation Meals:  Full board. Tarangire River sundowner included. Drinking water provided.

Day 12

Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park

Days 13-16

Arusha Airport to Zanzibar Island - Four Nights on the Indian Ocean

Day 13 – Transfer from Tarangire to Arusha Airport and Flight to Zanzibar

The final Tanzania safari morning begins with a last game drive through Tarangire before the transfer to Arusha. The drive from the park to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport takes approximately two to three hours, and the short flight from Arusha to Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport takes under an hour. The transition from the dry baobab savannah of Tarangire to the first sight of the Zanzibar coastline from the air, the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean and the white sand of the northern beaches visible below, is the arrival moment that the zanzibar honeymoon package section of this journey has been building toward since the first day in Amboseli.

Your Africa Bed of Roses Safaris representative meets you at Zanzibar Airport and transfers you to your chosen beach property. Check in, change, and walk to the beach. The Indian Ocean is in front of you. Thirteen days of safari are behind you. You have absolutely earned what comes next.

Day 14 – Stone Town Heritage Tour and Spice Plantation Visit

The first full Zanzibar day explores the island’s extraordinary cultural heritage before the remaining days are given entirely to the beach and the reef. Stone Town’s UNESCO-listed old quarter is one of the finest examples of Swahili coastal architecture in the world, its narrow lanes and carved doorways and coral-lime buildings containing a thousand years of maritime trading history. Your guide covers the House of Wonders, the Old Arab Fort, the Anglican Cathedral built on the site of the last slave market, the Palace Museum, and the warren of lanes that connect the island’s Swahili, Arab, Indian, and Portuguese architectural legacies into a single coherent historic quarter.

The afternoon spice plantation tour takes you into the island’s agricultural interior, the clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and black pepper plantations that gave Zanzibar its historical title as the Spice Island. The guide identifies and explains each species in the plantation, the history of the spice trade that connected Zanzibar to Oman, Persia, India, and Europe, and the current agricultural practices that continue the island’s spice-growing tradition. Return to your beach property for a sunset dinner by the Indian Ocean.

Day 15 – Mnemba Atoll Snorkelling and Traditional Dhow Sunset Cruise

The second full Zanzibar day moves from the cultural to the marine. Mnemba Atoll, a private island and marine reserve on the northeast coast of Zanzibar, holds some of the finest coral reef snorkelling available in the Indian Ocean. The boat transfer to the atoll takes approximately forty-five minutes and the snorkelling begins immediately on arrival at the reef. Green sea turtles are resident in the atoll waters and regularly encountered during snorkelling sessions. Spinner dolphins are frequently found in the open water between Zanzibar and Mnemba, and the boat transfer gives a good chance of encountering them on the way out.

The coral gardens of Mnemba are intact and the fish diversity reflects decades of marine reserve protection. Parrotfish, surgeonfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, and the larger pelagic species that move through the deeper reef sections make the snorkelling here consistently excellent for any level of experience. Return to the beach in the afternoon for the sunset dhow cruise, a traditional wooden dhow moving along the Zanzibar coast as the sun drops toward the horizon, the dhow route connecting the day’s marine experience to the centuries of maritime culture that the island’s history is built on.

Day 16 – Full Leisure Day and Private Champagne Beach Dinner

The last full day of the zanzibar honeymoon package is given entirely back to your couple. A long morning on the beach. A swim in the warm Indian Ocean inside the reef. A lunch at the beach bar of your property with the water in front of you. An afternoon spa treatment at the resort. The particular quality of time that only exists on the last full day of a honeymoon, when the journey is behind you and the ordinary world is still a day away and there is genuinely nothing required of you at all.

Africa Bed of Roses Safaris arranges a private champagne beach dinner for your final Zanzibar evening. A table set on the white sand below the high tide line, candles, the Indian Ocean moving quietly in the darkness, and the night sky above the reef with the stars that the Indian Ocean coast holds better than almost anywhere else. It is the right ending to sixteen nights across three countries and nine of East Africa’s most extraordinary destinations. Kenya gave you the elephants and the mountains. Tanzania gave you the Serengeti and the crater. Zanzibar gives you this: the Indian Ocean in the darkness, the candles, and the knowledge that you have been somewhere together that very few people in the world have managed to see in the same journey.

Accommodation Options: Diamonds Mapenzi Beach (Mid-Range Beachfront Resort, Nungwi, Zanzibar) Melia Zanzibar (Mid-Range Resort, Matemwe, Zanzibar) Karafuu Beach Resort and Spa (Mid-Range Resort, Pingwe, Zanzibar) Bluebay Beach Resort and Spa (Mid-Range Resort, Kiwengwa, Zanzibar)

Nights: 4 nights at your chosen Zanzibar beach property Meals:  Breakfast and dinners included. Stone Town tour, spice plantation visit, Mnemba Atoll snorkelling, dhow cruise, and private champagne beach dinner included. Drinking water provided.

Morning – Final Beach Walk and Check-Out

The seventeenth and final morning of your kenya, tanzania and zanzibar honeymoon safari package belongs to the beach one last time. A walk along the coral sand at low tide, the reef flat exposed and the tidal pools alive. A last swim in the warm Indian Ocean. Breakfast at your property with the water in front of you. Check-out at the pace that only the last morning of a honeymoon can afford.

Late Morning – Transfer to Zanzibar Airport and Departure

Your Africa Bed of Roses Safaris representative transfers you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward flight. The view of the Zanzibar coastline from the air on departure, the reef visible as a change in the colour of the water and the white sand of the beaches catching the morning light below, is the final image of seventeen days that has moved across three countries, nine destinations, and the full range of what East Africa offers a honeymoon couple at its very best.

Seventeen days. Kilimanjaro above the elephants. The Naivasha hippos surfacing at dusk. The Mara River crossings. The border crossing onto the open Serengeti plain. The descent into Ngorongoro Crater. The tree-climbing lions of Manyara. The ancient baobabs and the elephant herds of Tarangire. And then the Indian Ocean, Stone Town’s carved doors, the Mnemba reef below the surface, and the last champagne dinner on the Zanzibar sand. Africa Bed of Roses Safaris will be ready when you want to come back.
