Arusha – Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport Karibu Tanzania
Your Tanzania honeymoon starts the moment you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). A representative from Africa Bed of Roses Safaris will be waiting with a personalized sign and a warm “Karibu,” welcoming you to East Africa.
You will be whisked away to your lodge in Arusha, a vibrant city nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. This first evening is all about settling in. Enjoy a romantic dinner in lush gardens, shake off the jet lag, and rest in comfort. Tomorrow, the wilderness calls.

As you descend into the Serengeti, the horizon seems to stretch forever. This is the stage for the Great Migration and home to the highest concentration of big cats in Africa. Your guide will take you deep into the park to find lions on the hunt, cheetahs scanning the plains, and hippos wallowing in the pools. As the sun sets, enjoy a “sundowner” drink by the campfire, listening to the roar of lions in the distance, a quintessential luxury honeymoon moment.
