Morning – Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

The transition from the open tea estate country to the dense forest as the road enters the park is immediate and absolute.
Arrive at the Uwinka Visitor Centre in the heart of Nyungwe for the canopy walkway experience. The walkway is suspended 50 metres above the forest floor on a series of steel cables and wooden platforms, extending 160 metres between two forested hills and offering a perspective on the Nyungwe canopy that no ground-level trail can replicate.
