After lunch, you will be driven to the park headquarters where you will join other trackers who will have come for the afternoon trek. After a short briefing by one of the park officials, you will be allocated a ranger guide who will lead the group into the forest to find the chimpanzees. This day is always regarded as the biggest day of all days on the safari. So, after breakfast, you will head out to the park headquarters where you have to get to no later than 7:30 am. Here, you will join other visitors for a briefing by one of the park staff. Thereafter, you will meet with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to.
